What is the deadline for registration?

  • November 14th, 2017: "Early Online" registration ends. (Cut-off date for free long sleeved tee-shirt)

  • November 21st, 2017: Final day for online registration and all mail-in entries must be received. (mail your forms early)

  • November 23th, 2017: Registration starts at 7:30 AM at the event.

Do you offer “early check-in” and early tee-shirt pick up?
Yes. On Wednesday, November 22nd, 2017, we will offer the early check-in from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at Hooper Stadium, Nevada Union High School, 11761 Ridge Rd, Grass Valley, CA. You can pick up your tee-shirts, race bibs or walker stickers, and avoid the lines on Thanksgiving morning!

Bad weather is in the forecast. Can I get a refund?
This event was established to riase funds for suicide prevention and awarenes. Our goal is to put on the best event we can in any weather condition. Rain, sleet, snow and sunshine, we will be there and hope you are too. Becasue of this we are unable to offer refunds. Thank you for your understanding and support! 

What timing system do you use?
We use a chip timing system. Each registered runner is assigned a bib that includes a chip which computes their individual time. Please make sure to where the bid specifically assigned to you (your name will be printed on the bib). The bib must be worn on the front of your body, so that we can see your bib numbers as you cross the finish line. Walkers are not timed.

What are the parking options?
The best place to park is in one of the Nevada Union High School lots. There is also parking along Ridge Road.

Will there be food available?
Yes, we will have water, light bites, and fruit available at the finish line.

Can I bring my child in a stroller?
Yes, this is a family event! The run and walk courses are on trial terrain. A stroller designed for trails is recommended.

Can I change my event choice the morning of?
Yes, but we ask that you let us know of your change. If you registered as a walker and decide to run, we would like to issue you a race bib. If you registered for the 5k and want to run the 10k (or visa versa), we also need to update our race software.

Do you offer any activities for children?
We hold a free kids fun run at 8:15 AM. It begins right on the football field at Hooper Stadium. All children will receive a Turkey Trot ribbon for participating.

Will Restrooms be available?
Yes! Hooper Stadium restrooms will be open to the public (behind the football stadium snack shack). There will also be portable restrooms right along the track close to the registration check-in.

Will you hold the event if it rains?
This is a rain or shine event. Ali Gym will be open to the public before, during, and after the event if weather is severe. Please note entry fees are nonrefundable.
